Our Cooking Studio in Tuscany is located in Panzano in Chianti, midway between Florence and Sienna.
Our cooking lessons are imbued with the joy and passion that our teacher brings to food, cooking and the other facets of her life. With a clear vision of the social and cultural power of cooking, “Preparing and sharing a meal brings people together,” she says convincingly. “It’s fun and creative, with lots of room for improvisation”. Food reveals a lot about the land it comes from, and vice versa. This is why our cooking teacher likes to start her classes with a visit to local food markets and butchers, private vegetable gardens and artisan shops.
The Cooking Studio is open seven days a week and offers a morning lesson beginning around 10:00 and an afternoon lesson beginning around 16:30.
Class size is limited to small groups of 2 to 8 participants, to ensure personal attention and a cosy atmosphere.
One-day classes are available, as well as two and three-day programs.
Times and schedules are flexible, depending on the participants’ schedules and wishes, and when the various local markets and other activities are open at that time and connect to the seasons. Tailor-made programmes can also be designed.
Every lesson, held in English, consists of:
- a hands-on cooking lesson (not a demonstration ) of about three hours, in which all together we prepare all the courses of a traditional Tuscan meal from antipasto till dolce.
- a meal enjoyed around an elegantly decorated table set with our culinary creation.
The price for each lesson is 125 euros per person.

Local culinary visits |
|
The following optional visits of about 1 - 1.5 hours can be added for those who wish to know more about the area:
§ organic vegetable garden within walking distance, located among the vineyards and olive groves;
§ open air markets;
§ cheese maker;
§ saffron farm (October-November);
§ ceramics shop;
§ grape and olive harvests (September, November)
§ wine tasting
and other special events available at that time.
The price of each visit is 45 euros per person.
