Siena Palio tickets and accommodation package
Periods 29 June to 2 July and 13 to 16 August, 2010.
The three days leading up to the Palio of Siena, which takes place on 2 July and 16 August, offer the possibility to enjoy all aspects of this mediaeval festival par excellence.
For those staying in our accommodations during the Palio, we offer the option of being accompanied by our guide for a full day in Siena to attend the trial races and events within the contrade (districts) leading up to the Palio. All events during the three days before the Palio will be followed on the streets or from the stands. After the trial race, you will attend a dinner in a contrade participating in the Palio. The total price is 60 euros per person (excluding any transfers). The offer is for a minimum of 4 participants.
For those who wish to attend the Palio itself on 2 July or 16 August, we request advance notification if you wish to watch the race from the stages around the square or from balconies and windows of private homes.
Prices vary depending on the location chosen.
Our guide will accompany you throughout the entire event.
If you wish to follow all phases of the competition during the four days, we can organise your entire stay in hotel rooms within Siena.
